Cancer Deadline Day – this transfer window we’re calling all fans, players, clubs and legends to give cancer the boot

Eight cancer charities, including CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, have come together to launch Cancer Deadline Day – a new fundraising campaign running alongside the football transfer window, which will see supporters pledging money to help cancer charities.

Whoever you support, help your club get to the top of the giving table with the most amount raised by the end of transfer deadline day on 1 February. To donate, simply visit the Cancer Deadline Day website, choose your club and donate today.

CLIC Sargent is one of eight cancer charities who will be benefiting from the money raised from Cancer Deadline Day.

Luke Mallett, Director of Income and Engagement at CLIC Sargent said: “We are excited to be part of Cancer Deadline Day and want to thank everyone involved. The pandemic is having a huge impact on the young people and families we support, but whatever this year holds, CLIC Sargent will continue to be there for young cancer patients and their families. The pandemic has also hit cancer charities like CLIC Sargent hard, it’s having a significant impact on our ability to raise money.”
