Young cancer patients face a 60 mile round trip, on average, to get treatment. This isn’t by choice. Many young cancer patients have to travel to specialist cancer centres to get the care they need, they can’t just go to their local hospital.
Our research has found that children and young people with cancer have to travel an average of 60 miles for treatment. This isn’t by choice. Many young cancer patients have to travel to specialist cancer centres to get the care they need – they can’t just go to their local hospital. Challenge 60 will go ahead despite the current lockdown restrictions. Just make sure you respect the guidelines. Please be responsible and get in touch if you’d like any advice.
Unfortunately, Facebook does not allow under 18s to set up a Facebook Fundraiser. However, under 18s can still take part with a guardian!
We have a training support team on hand to give advice and top tips to help you reach your target.

Yes, of course! The more the merrier. Just share the Facebook group link with anyone who would like to join.
Unfortunately we cannot ship our fundraising packs outside of the UK but we would still love to have you on board! Join our Facebook group to take part.
Sadly, Facebook does not yet allow people without an account to donate to their fundraisers. If you think most of the connections who would like to support you do not have Facebook, you may be better off setting up a JustGiving fundraising page.
You can find the event Facebook group at here and claim your fundraising pack here.
Our Facebook group has a number of rules relating to the challenge, which can be found in the “About” section. Anyone found to break these rules will potentially be removed from the group on a permanent basis.
