The Great Scottish Run is Scotland’s biggest (and best!) road race and will see over 25,000 take on the 10k or half marathon run. Join Team Young Lives, have an epic day and stop cancer destroying young lives.
You can secure your spot at the start line of either the 10k or half marathon right now by getting a Young Lives vs Cancer place for just £15 for 10k and £20 for the half.
If you take on the 10k we ask that you raise a minimum of £150 and if you go for the half option then we ask that you raise a minimum of £200, which will fund our vital work supporting children and young people with cancer.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer it threatens everything, for them and their family.
At a time when they should be busy being children, enjoying their rollercoaster teenage years or finding their feet at uni, life becomes full of fear. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, of overwhelming money worries, mental health stretched to breaking point, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we get that. We are the charity that helps children and young people and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
We’re really gutted that so many 2020 events were postponed or cancelled. We know we’re not in the clear yet, and you may be worried about booking onto this event and it being cancelled or postponed. But rest assured there is no risk!
Normally our registration fees are non-refundable but if The Great Scottish Run can’t take place because of COVID, we will happily offer you a full refund of your registration fee.
