Take on the Thames Path Challenge following England’s greatest river. Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves.
Our full Thames Path Challenge 100K route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta at 50K, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With 75K three-quarter, 50K half challenge, or 25K challenge options – there’s a challenge for everyone. Your challenge will be a test of spirit and determination. You’ll be supported all the way by our team, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement.
Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

SIGN UP- Full Challenge – 100K as a full-on ‘continuous’ challenge, Putney Bridge to Henley.
- Full ‘Daylight’ – 100K over 2 days with overnight camping option or B&B at half way.
- 1st Half – 50K from Putney to Runnymede, taking in Richmond and Hampton Court.
- 2nd Half – 50K – Runnymede to Henley. Also Ideal if you want to join up with a ‘Full Challenger’ friend.
- Quarters – if ~25K is more your thing – ALL 4 quarters are available options – and all are great!
- Henley 10K – a loop from our main riverside finish venue on Sunday morning.

1. Full Sponsorship – you pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!
- Full challenge – 100K: 50% off the £40 reg fee / £575 fundraising target
- 3/4 challenge – 72K: 50% off the £35 reg fee / £450 fundraising target
- Half challenge – 50K: 50% off the £30 reg fee / £360 fundraising target
- Quarter challenge – 28K/22K: 50% off the £20 reg fee / £240 fundraising target
2. Mixed Funding – pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

- Half challenge – 50K: £75 reg fee / £225 fundraising target

3. Own Place – you pay the full cost of the event place – fundraise whatever you want, with no set target or deadline, and there’s no cost at all to the charity!

Every day 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Yet not one of them has the same experience. All young cancer patients have different needs, opportunities and backgrounds and for some, the systems in place and gaps in support mean that their experiences are much more challenging than others. Far too many children and young people with cancer are experiencing inequality as soon as they are diagnosed due to a ‘one size fits all’ approach throughout much of the system. That’s why the support they receive must look beyond their diagnosis. It should provide them with what they need, so that they can go on to thrive no matter what. That’s why we exist.
We don’t receive any government funding so everything we do is thanks to amazing people like you. From funding our brilliant Young Lives vs Cancer Social Workers to our vital financial grants, your support means that we can be there for children and young people facing cancer, and their families, to ensure that having a cancer diagnosis doesn’t mean you lose what makes you, you.
