Jane’s son Josh was three years old when he was diagnosed with cancer, and ahead of World Cancer Day she’s been reflecting on finding strength during the most difficult times.

Lucas’ Story: “I asked what the chances were of it being benign, but they said 0.01%. It was all such a shock”
Lucas was 3 when he was diagnosed with Wilms tumour. He initially responded well to treatment but a scan revealed he had relapsed. He rang the end of treatment bell in 2017.
Finley’s story: “They called me in to have a chat in another room, I knew what they were going to tell me”
Finley, age 8, was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2018, he’s just over half way through this treatment
Olivia was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma earlier this year and had treatment both before and during lockdown
