The appeal
This February, actress and comedian Doon Mackichan made an appeal on our behalf on BBC Radio 4, talking about how her world changed overnight when her son Louis was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was nine years old – and how our social worker Julie helped the family cope.
You can still listen to the appeal on the Radio 4 appeal webpage, but donations for CLIC Sargent will no longer be accepted through the BBC Radio 4 website (they’ll go to the next featured charity instead). So if you’d like to make a donation, please come back after listening and donate via our website below.
Can you help us fight for young lives against cancer?
£46 will cover two vital hours of a CLIC Sargent Support Worker’s time to help young cancer patients and their families, like Doon's. So they can focus on the important things, like getting better.
