100 Miles in March 2026
Join thousands of others moving 100 miles in March to support children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer are excited to launch the very first Pisa to Rome Cycle Challenge, in association with Grand Tour Cycling. By taking part in this event, you’ll be helping children and young people find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
Our bespoke Pisa to Rome tour is a unique charity challenge event. Sometimes warmer and definitely hillier than the well-known London-Paris route, but the extra effort is rewarded by Tuscany’s captivating UNESCO World Heritage Sites of rolling hills, vineyards, cypress trees and Medieval hill-top towns and Lazio’s majestic landscape of lakes formed by collapsed volcanoes.
Different speed pelotons to suit all abilities from novices to experienced Club Cyclists. Our Cycle Road Captains are there to encourage and support anyone who needs a helping hand and each day we offer optional Breakaway sections for our fittest riders to test themselves on the steeper hills along the route.

We love our cyclists, and we want them to have an awesome experience! Some of the benefits of joining our team are:
Every day 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Yet not one of them has the same experience. All young cancer patients have different needs, opportunities and backgrounds and for some, the systems in place and gaps in support mean that their experiences are much more challenging than others. Far too many children and young people with cancer are experiencing inequality as soon as they are diagnosed due to a ‘one size fits all’ approach throughout much of the system. That’s why the support they receive must look beyond their diagnosis. It should provide them with what they need, so that they can go on to thrive no matter what. That’s why we exist.
We don’t receive any government funding so everything we do is thanks to amazing people like you. From funding our brilliant Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Workers to our vital financial grants, your support means that we can be there for children and young people facing cancer, and their families, to ensure that having a cancer diagnosis doesn’t mean you lose what makes you, you.
If you have any questions, or simply want to know more about taking part in an overseas cycle for Young Lives vs Cancer, please get in touch!
