Leave a gift in your Will
Cancer can turn young lives upside down. It stops playtime. Takes independence. Steals confidence. It’s unfair and ruthless. Its impact on young lives is more than medical.
With a gift in your Will to Young Lives vs Cancer, you can be by the side of those families forever. You’ll ensure more children and young people facing cancer get the practical, financial and emotional help they need to face it together.
That could be through one of our Home from Homes when they go for treatment. It could mean having precious time together without the worry of how to pay the bills. It could be through the support given by our team in the darkest of times.
A gift in your Will can give children and young people the best chance at the best possible life. A gift in your Will can last for generations.

Our mission
For over 50 years, we’ve been helping young people and their families facing cancer.
Our foundations go back to 1968, working as Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children. Later we became CLIC Sargent following a merger with Bob Woodward’s CLIC charity.
Our vision is that everyone under 25 with cancer, and their families, will get the support and help they need during their cancer treatment and beyond.
Our specialist social workers are there to help children and young people, and their families, cope with the emotional and practical impact of cancer.
- They’re an expert who fully understands what they’re going through. Someone who can help them navigate the anxiety and trauma that comes with cancer.
- They’re a guide through the hard conversations and complex hurdles, and a connection to school or work throughout it all.
- They’re an ally raising their voice when needed to make sure families still feel seen and in control.
One in eight of the children and young people we currently support are being funded through gifts in Wills. We could not do our work without them.
