Mum of Ellen, diagnosed with neuroblastoma aged twoWe used Paul’s House so much in the first six months after Ellen’s diagnosis. She loved the home, she would get in her own little routine, playing with toys she liked and watching the same movie. She knew she was safe there– no one was going to come at her with needles or take her for tests.
Paul’s House History
Paul’s House was opened in December 2013 and was the first facility of its kind in Northern Ireland. It is located directly opposite the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
Paul’s House is part of a row of terraced houses, known as Mulholland Terrace which were built in the nineteenth century by a Mr David Mulholland. The Falls Road itself is the main road running through West Belfast from Andersonstown to Belfast City Centre.
