Young Lives vs Cancer is chosen for this year’s Mirror Christmas appeal

Young Lives vs Cancer is the chosen charity for this year’s Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror’s Christmas appeal. This means that throughout December, the Mirror and Sunday Mirror will be sharing stories in print and online, raising awareness of the experiences of children and young people with cancer and their families and the support that we provide to them. Mirror readers will also be encouraged to support Young Lives vs Cancer this Christmas through the fundraising appeal.

There will be lots of stories shared throughout the appeal including interviews with young people and families we support, appearances from our incredible social workers and Homes from Home teams, as well as chats with a few of our celebrity supporters.

On a recent visit to Young Lives vs Cancer’s Home from Home Paul’s House, Young Lives vs Cancer supporter and TV presenter Gaby Roslin was interviewed for the appeal where she shared why she is so inspired to support the charity and why she thinks readers should donate to the appeal this Christmas.

Lots of children and young people with cancer and their families are also going to have a chance to have their voices heard throughout this appeal like Tia, Esha, and Maya.

The money raised during the Mirror’s Christmas appeal will help us be there for children and young people with cancer and their families, to provide them with the support they need to face cancer.
